Andreas Schaffner is Co-founder of Swiss Institutional and publisher of investrends.ch. He works where media, investment and technology converge – as a media expert, producer and investor.
As Editor-in-Chief, he led CNN Money Switzerland. He has built news programmes from scratch and won several awards as a journalist. As a producer, he is responsible for TV formats including NextIn Business on SAT.1 Schweiz, and he hosted Die Höhle der Löwen Schweiz. He has guided organisations through crises and develops communication strategies for leaders who need clarity rather than noise.
As an investor and owner of networking and news platforms for professional investors, he brings a distinct view of how ideas scale, how influence spreads and how credibility is earned. He trained as a lawyer at the University of Basel and holds an MBA from Durham University (UK).
